Hospitality Sweden

Staffan Dahlén • 01/10/2026

Autumn 2026

Welcome to the autumn edition of Cushman & Wakefield’s Hospitality Sweden. Released semiannually, the report provides the latest data and insights into the Swedish hotel market, drawing on our extensive market expertise.

The Swedish hotel sector continued its positive trajectory throughout 2025 and into the first half of 2026. Supported by resilient travel demand, improving economic conditions and growing international visitation, the market has demonstrated strong underlying fundamentals despite continued geopolitical uncertainty. The report analyses key performance metrics, including occupancy, average room rates and RevPAR, and highlights how strong pricing power and healthy demand fundamentals continue to drive revenue growth across the sector.

Each edition also features a special theme. In this autumn edition, the focus is on the evolving dynamics of Sweden’s tourism market and the increasing importance of international demand. With tourism reaching record levels and several months setting new guest night records, the theme provides valuable context for understanding the trends shaping future hotel demand and investment opportunities.

As the world continues to change rapidly, the ability to adapt to shifting demand patterns and structural change is becoming increasingly important. This report aims to provide decision-makers with clear insights to navigate these developments.

Enjoy the read, and do not hesitate to reach out to our hospitality team.
