Canada Data Center Update - Summer 2020

The two major Canadian data center markets had impressive starts to the year, with Toronto reaching its best half of absorption on record and Montreal with its best half in three years. Several operators are underway on new expansion in Toronto, with vacancy dropping to a Northern Virginia-level 6%. New cloud services abound in both markets, and a large telecom-centric portfolio has signed to change hands shortly.
