New Zealand Team Delivers During Global Pandemic

Whilst Covid-19 has created unprecedented challenges to the delivery of property services in New Zealand, especially during lockdown, the Cushman & Wakefield team in New Zealand have continued to deliver for our clients.


Celebrating Another Year of Successful Delivery with Chorus

Chorus will soon be approaching their annual anniversary as a Cushman & Wakefield client.

Originally, the contract was estimated to be 30 work orders per month, however, over the past quarter, the team has completed 60 plus work orders per month.

The increase in work has been a result of delivering consistent and reliable service to Chorus. Some services provided include:

  • 100+ furniture deliveries made to home addresses during the New Zealand lockdown due to Covid-19. This was followed by 80 furniture collections, coordinated over two days
  • Rolled out 270 new chairs over five roll-out dates
  • Minor works including testing and tagging 18 additional sites, as well as carpet cleaning and painting
  • Filling an internal National FM Manager gap within Chorus over a four-month period.

Dunedin City Council

Since commencing our contract with Dunedin City Council (DCC) in October 2019, the Cushman & Wakefield team in Dunedin has grown and can now self-deliver services to all Cushman & Wakefield held contracts in the area including Woolworths, Westpac and ANZ.  

Following the strong results in service delivery of the team, DCC is confident that Cushman & Wakefield can facilitate other areas of their portfolio, including two other sites outside of Dunedin. This includes 4,619 sqm across two buildings on Rosebank Road in Auckland and four separate commercial buildings on Treffers Road in Christchurch.

Congratulations to Paul Palmer for his management of Dunedin City Council and continuing to successfully lead the team and to Hannah Welsby for managing the FM on the new sites.
