Mastercard Australia: Relocating To A New Innovation Hub
01 THE CHALLENGE
Mastercard wanted to consolidate their existing four offices across Sydney into one location, at 72 Christie Street, St Leonards, covering approximately 7,500m2 over 5 floors.
The objective was to transform the business by integrating office spaces in a way that is efficient to facilities management, while encouraging a collaborative office culture.
Mastercard approached Cushman & Wakefield for full-spectrum project management services for the relocation and fit out of their new Australian HQ. This included acting as Principal for the consultancy and contractor teams.
Cushman & Wakefield was also requested to represent Mastercard in negotiations with the building landlord. This was to ensure that landlord obligations were met and upgrades were delivered within the leasing agreement terms.
02 THE SOLUTION
Cushman & Wakefield proposed and eventually finalised a new location and home base for One Mastercard after consultations with the client’s stakeholders and steering committee.
We managed and delivered the entire process including design, procurement and development, enabling Mastercard to see their vision come to life.
We also introduced our Transition Management services, which included facilities and operations management, to ensure a seamless process from start to finish.
03 THE RESULT
A key contributor to this project’s success was Cushman & Wakefield’s global partnership with Mastercard.
