Bouwinvest appoints Cushman & Wakefield, MVGM and vb&t as strategic partners for property management in the Netherlands
Asset manager Bouwinvest Real Estate Investors has selected Cushman & Wakefield, MVGM and vb&t Vastgoedmanagement as strategic partners for the property management of its entire real estate portfolio in the Netherlands. The decision follows a thorough evaluation of the current management structure. By entrusting the day-to-day operations to three dedicated partners, Bouwinvest is taking an important step towards further digitalisation, process optimisation, and consistent quality standards. The aim is to enhance service delivery and generate sustainable returns for investors.
Cushman & Wakefield, MVGM and vb&t – all previous partners of Bouwinvest – will act as strategic property managers for the coming years, responsible respectively for the commercial, residential, and healthcare real estate portfolios. This forward-looking collaboration will result in greater continuity, improved data quality and room for further innovation.

The partnership with Cushman & Wakefield, MVGM and vb&t enables Bouwinvest to further professionalise its property management operations. Leveraging specialised systems, economies of scale and data-driven insights, processes can be designed more efficiently. The division of responsibilities is based on the specific expertise of each partner:- Cushman & Wakefield: 560,000 m² of commercial real estate (Retail, Office & Hotel)
- MVGM: 10,500 residential units, 60 healthcare complexes
- vb&t Vastgoedmanagement: 8,000 residential units

- MVGM is one of the largest property managers in the Netherlands and operates in nine European countries. Responsible for both Bouwinvest’s residential and healthcare portfolios, MVGM contributes to a stable and efficient operation through its scale and digital capabilities.
- vb&t Vastgoedmanagement is a national property manager headquartered in Eindhoven, managing approximately 58,000 residential units. The collaboration with Bouwinvest spans over 20 years and is now being expanded to cover around 8,000 residential units, with a strong focus on the Randstad region.
