CLEVELAND, January 29, 2020 – Cushman & Wakefield announced that Lisa Cotten has joined the firm’s Valuation & Advisory practice in Cleveland and will be focused on expanding the team’s capabilities within the region.

Cotten is a 20-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Cotten served as the Chief Appraiser for Talmer Bank & Trust (nka Chemical Bank) and most recently served as Director of Construction Monitoring, Commercial Valuation & Environmental Services at Chemical Bank.
During her career, she has focused on commercial appraisal policies/procedures for financial institutions and over the years has testified before the State of Ohio Board of Tax Appeals, various Ohio county board of revision panels and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Cleveland.

Cotten is active in the CRE industry with membership in both CREW Cleveland and ULI Cleveland. She is also involved with Ohio Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, serving as the Director since 2018 and was a member of the Leadership Development and Advisory Council in 2019. In addition, she’s a candidate for both the MAI and the AI-GRS designations from the Appraisal Institute.
