Final Development Plan Approved for Rocky Mountain Rail Park - A 620-acre rail-served industrial park

9/10/2020
ADAMS COUNTY, Colo., September 10, 2020 – Rocky Mountain Industrials, Inc. announced approval of its Final Development Plan (“FDP”) for the Rocky Mountain Rail Park (“Rail Park”), a 620-acre rail-served industrial park.

Rocky Mountain Rail Park

On September 1, 2020, the FDP was unanimously approved by the Adams County Board of Commissioners, marking the successful completion of the development’s multi-year zoning and entitlement endeavor. The Rail Park is in unincorporated Adams County, just off Manila Rd and I-70, and adjacent to the Colorado Air and Space Port (formerly Front Range Airport). Construction will start in Q4 2020 with the ability for buyers to start building in Spring of 2021.

“Our Rocky Mountain Rail Park will play a leading role in the future of the region’s industrial supply chain,” said Gregory Dangler, CEO of Rocky Mountain Industrials, Inc. “We are fulfilling a market need that has been building for the last few decades. We are extremely grateful to the Adams County leadership for their ability to recognize and react to this need.”

Aaron Valdez, Alec Rhodes and Tyler Smith of Cushman & Wakefield are providing Brokerage Services for the new park.

“This is the most exciting industrial transportation project we have seen in years,” said Aaron Valdez. “Denver desperately needs more rail-served industrial sites that allow companies to offload bulk products for manufacturing or distribution. The Rail Park uniquely offers the heaviest industrial zoning including use-by-right entitlements with ample outdoor storage.
