Mike Pittman II Joins Cushman & Wakefield as Director


HOUSTON, December 14, 2021 Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the commercial real estate services firm has hired Mike Pittman II as a Director. He will be based in the firm’s Houston office.

Michael Pittman Houston (image)Pittman will join Eric Lestin, Managing Director-Retail Lead, Emily Howard-Wilson, Senior Associate and Michael Burgower, Associate on the Retail Services team which focuses on site selection, tenant representation, dispositions and agency leasing efforts. Additionally, Pittman will handle specialty assignments such as makerspaces, specialty urban infill assignments and nonprofit advisory services.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Pittman was Vice President of Real Estate at Urban Partnerships Community Development Corporation (UP CDC), a 501(c)3 non-profit real estate development firm, where he oversaw acquisition, leasing, and real estate development for the company's real estate owned assets including the $38 million redevelopment of the East End Maker Hub, a 300,000-square-foot incubator for high-tech manufacturing, medical and life science, and fabrication companies.

Pittman has a family history of real estate services with his mother as a real estate broker and father as a developer and current Deputy Director of Property Management with the Illinois Department of Central Management Services, where he oversees the entire state of Illinois’ real estate portfolio consisting of over +17M square feet of REO assets and leased space. Pittman has a BA from Prairie View A&M University, a HBCU, where he was a NCAA Division 1 baseball player. Pittman is currently pursuing his CCIM designation.
