MINNEAPOLIS, November 19, 2025 – Cushman & Wakefield today announced that Senior Director Aaron Barnard, SIOR, CCIM, has been named President-Elect of The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) to serve a one-year term on the SIOR Board of Directors. He assumed the position at SIOR’s Fall 2025 conference earlier this month in Louisville, KY.
Barnard, who works out of Cushman & Wakefield’s Bloomington, Minn. office, is a 33-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry with a practice focused on investment analysis, project feasibility, leasing/marketing programs, and development pre-leasing in a variety of U.S. markets. He has been an SIOR member since 2009 and is a 2017 recipient of the organization’s Robert P. Boblett Award.

During his career, Barnard has been involved in leasing over 8.1 million square feet of office/medical and mixed-use product, for a gross total consideration of over $517 million in value. He holds a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas in the Twin Cities.
