New York – June 25, 2026 – Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK) is pleased to announce that Dr. Benjamin Westrich, PhD, has joined the firm as Head of Forecasting. In this role, Westrich will lead the development of the firm's forecasting capabilities across the Americas, overseeing models, methodologies and systems that support economic outlooks and predictive analytics.

Westrich will oversee the continued development of Cushman & Wakefield's forecasting platform through the integration of econometric modeling, machine learning and emerging artificial intelligence capabilities. He will work across property types and markets, partnering with the firm’s research, technology and business leaders to strengthen its accuracy, reach and effectiveness.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Westrich served as Chief Technology Officer and AI Systems Architect at EcoMetricx, where he led the development of analytical and technology solutions focused on forecasting, modeling and decision support. He has a multidisciplinary background spanning economics, software engineering, artificial intelligence and organizational leadership. Throughout his career, he has developed analytical tools and decision-support systems that combine technical innovation with a deep understanding of economic behavior and market dynamics.
Westrich is a distinguished U.S. Army veteran who served for 14 years as a Forward Observer, earning the Bronze Star and leading teams through multiple combat deployments. Rising to the rank of senior non-commissioned officer, he developed a leadership approach grounded in precision, adaptability and disciplined decision-making.
Westrich earned a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Irvine. He also holds a Master of Science in Economics from Purdue University, where he concentrated on big data, time-series forecasting and dynamic modeling, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, graduating summa cum laude with Highest Distinction.
