Cushman & Wakefield today announced a significant renewal and expansion of its Integrated Facilities Management partnership with SA Water. This strategic win reinforces Cushman & Wakefield's position as a trusted partner in South Australia, transitioning the firm to the exclusive facilities management provider across 603 SA Water sites.
The new agreement extends the long-standing 17-year relationship for an initial term of five years, with options for up to five additional years. This expansion marks a major milestone, growing from managing a single site under a shared contract to becoming the sole provider for SA Water’s extensive portfolio. The expanded scope allows for direct service delivery by Cushman & Wakefield’s local trades team across electrical, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines.
"This renewal and expansion with SA Water exemplifies our commitment to delivering integrated solutions that drive growth for our clients and our business," said Jon McCormick, Head of Integrated Facilities Management, ANZ at Cushman & Wakefield. "Our 17-year partnership with SA Water highlights the dedication of our team in providing exceptional service."
The successful agreement follows a comprehensive bidding process that began in January of this year. Transition activities will commence immediately, with full operational go-live scheduled for 1 February 2026.
Cam Griffin, Regional Director IFM at Cushman & Wakefield said "Becoming the exclusive provider across 603 sites allows us to deliver direct service through our local trades team and deliver additional services through our Project & Development team." This integrated approach is set to create additional value and enhance service delivery for SA Water.
This contract win not only strengthens Cushman & Wakefield’s presence in South Australia but also underscores its capability to manage complex, large-scale facilities management contracts, positioning the firm for continued growth in the region.
