Cheryl is the Managing Director for Institutional Investments with Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory group, based out of Toronto. In this role, she is responsible for providing valuation services to institutional office assets across Canada. Her valuation experience includes assignments with many of Canada’s largest pension funds. Cheryl has completed valuation and consulting assignments in many of Canada’s major cities including Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto, and Montreal. Her primary field of expertise includes valuation, financial due diligence, and consultation specializing in office investments. Cheryl has appraised the majority of Toronto’s bank towers, as well as the new supply office development in Downtown Toronto.
Cheryl has worked on numerous valuation and consulting assignments for both asset specific and portfolio properties. Her consulting assignments include market rent studies on behalf of landlords to help determine the appropriate market rent for large tenant renewals. In addition, Cheryl has completed financial due diligence on behalf of domestic and foreign investors trying to acquire office investments in Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Cheryl was a Director within CBRE’s Valuation and Advisory Group and a Director at Altus Group. While at CBRE, Cheryl played a key role in growing the group’s clientele and completing appraisal assignments in Toronto and Montreal. At Altus Group, she managed national portfolio assignments for some of Canada’s largest pension funds. She was also the team leader for the National Office Best Practice Group where she was responsible for developing best practices within the Canadian office market.
