Doug Tilley, a Senior Vice President and Broker with Cushman & Wakefield Ottawa, brings over thirty years of real estate experience to Cushman & Wakefield Ottawa in the leasing and investment disciplines. Doug has the distinction of being a “Top Producer” in Canada for the past many years.

In 2015, Doug’s team was able to find space for Ciena in the recently vacated Blackberry buildings in conjunction with the existing space, there will also be a new building developed bumping the total to 425,000 sf.

In 2013, Doug’s team was able to successfully negotiate a solution for Cassidian Communications resulting in a 53,000 SF lease in the Province of Quebec.

In 2011, we were able to secure for Thales Systems Canada a new seven (7) lease direct with the landlord that exceeded the best case scenario of a re-location and it was 15% less expensive than the landlords starting position. Thales Systems Canada occupies 57,375 sf at 1 Chrysalis Way.


Doug began his career as a professional accountant. He is a CPA and holds a Certified Management Accounting designation (CMA), Financial Management Certification, as well as a degree in Business Administration (Accounting Major). Once involved in the real estate industry, Doug quickly excelled in the leasing field.
