Kelvin has more than 28 years’ professional experience in the real estate industry in both New Zealand and mainland China, with 16 years in the Greater Bay Area. He has provided quality consultancy services to sectors including urban land operation, metro and transportation-related real estate development, the aged care industry, and retirement housing real estate and urban renewal consulting projects.
He is a leader of the Shanghai Urban Renewal Committee and Yangtze River Delta Industry Collaborative Integration Service Platform, and is also a key member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Urbanization Committee, and has extensive expertise in real estate policies in mainland China, especially for Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta. Additionally, he has published articles in a number of professional real estate journals.
Kelvin joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2001 and transferred to the Shanghai office in 2008. As Managing Director of East China (former Managing Director of Central China), he oversees management and all aspects of the business for East China offices, including Shanghai, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou, Zhengzhou and Hefei. He has also supported the preliminary study, planning consultancy, positioning and operational strategy of a number of consulting projects, including the Shanghai Huangpu District Bund second façade reconstruction project, the Longyang Road Commercial Complex consulting service project, Lumina leasing services, LUONE leasing services, the Nanjing Gulou Tiebei area industrial planning consulting service, the Dah Chong Hong logistics warehouse site selection project, and CICS Shanghai asset purchasing service.
Kelvin also maintains communications and relationships with governments of several districts in Shanghai and major cities in the Yangtze River Delta.
