About
Michael Wu holds the position of Director with the Cushman & Wakefield South China PDS team and is based in Shenzhen.
Michael has more than 19 years of working experience in the real estate industry and has won many key accounts and outstanding large-scale cross fit-out and greenfield investment projects in the Chinese mainland. He has provided a range of engineering services spanning project management and MEP/QS/ WPS/ESG consultancy services to MNC companies such as Apple, Google, Shell, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Nomura, Volkswagen, Amazon, and Walmart; as well as domestic clients including Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent, Kuaishou, Bytedance/Tiktok, and Xiaomi.
Michael currently focuses on business development in the Greater Bay Area (GBA), specifically with hightech and finance companies. While assisting many domestic Chinese firms to expand their businesses globally, he also provides solutions to their local demands such as office and factory EPCM and EPC. His presence in emerging industries is helping the Cushman & Wakefield PDS arm to grow its market visibility and competitive advantages.
Prior to joining the Cushman & Wakefield Shenzhen PDS team, Michael accrued five years of working experience in Africa and Europe, as well as 12 years in Beijing serving high-end clients. Both experiences have enabled him to facilitate exploring more opportunities in the GBA.
