Vastint Netherlands appoints Cushman & Wakefield for integrated property management

Vastint Netherlands appoints Cushman & Wakefield for integrated property management

Amsterdam, 15 June – Vastint Netherlands will partner with Cushman & Wakefield Asset Services as of 1 October 2026 for the integrated management of its Dutch real estate portfolio. With this step, Vastint opts for a broader service offering that combines commercial, technical, financial, hospitality and marketing management—aligned with its ambition to make property management more future-proof, efficient and sustainable.

 

Strategic partnership for tenants and assets

Cushman & Wakefield Asset Services will manage approximately 234,000 sq m GFA of offices, hotels and mixed-use properties, across 18 assets in the Netherlands. The portfolio includes Atlas ArenA Amsterdam, NH City Center, Leonardo Hotel, The Hague University of Applied Sciences and TreeCity Offices. Within this strategic partnership, commercial, technical, financial and hospitality management will be brought together in one integrated approach. Marketing, communications, community building and ESG are also embedded within this framework. By connecting disciplines more closely, greater operational alignment is achieved, and tenants benefit from a single point of contact for service, communication and maintenance.

Focus on tenant experience and sustainability

Through this collaboration, Vastint aims to further strengthen its focus on tenant experience and user engagement. By placing greater emphasis on service, community and hospitality, Vastint seeks to maintain the attractiveness of its buildings for both current and future tenants and users. In addition, Cushman & Wakefield will support the continued delivery of Vastint’s ESG objectives. This includes a strong focus on improving energy efficiency, implementing data-driven management and further optimising building certifications across the portfolio.“With this collaboration, we are bringing all property management disciplines under one roof,” says Ernst-Jan van Prooye, Managing Director of Vastint Netherlands. “This enables us to respond more quickly, enhance the synergy between technical and commercial functions, and further improve the performance of our buildings—benefitting not only us, but above all our tenants and users.”

 

Phased implementation

Over the coming months, Vastint Netherlands and Cushman & Wakefield will work jointly on a phased implementation of the partnership. From October 2026, tenants will benefit from a fully integrated service offering.
