Cushman & Wakefield Welcomes Tomorrow’s Industry Stars

30/09/2022

Cushman & Wakefield has welcomed its latest cohort of inspiring students, with 57 graduates, nine apprentices and two annual placement students joining the real estate services firm in the UK and Ireland.

The graduates will spend the next two years working towards a professional qualification through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). The apprentices have a structured five-year programme, including studying part-time for a BSc undergraduate degree, and will also work towards their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) in their final two years.

Cushman & Wakefield selected and recruited graduates from universities, colleges and business schools across the UK and Ireland, including Glasgow, Manchester, London, Nottingham, Reading, Liverpool, Leeds, Edinburgh, Bath, Oxford, Bristol and Dublin.

The graduate programme involves three rotations in different teams, which allows new joiners to gain experience in a variety of business functions and teams across Cushman & Wakefield’s UK and Ireland offices.

As part of their induction, the new joiners have spent time at Cushman & Wakefield’s London headquarters at Old Broad Street, and the RICS head office in Westminster, where they met senior figures in the commercial real estate industry and began their programmes.

George Roberts, Head of UK & Ireland at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “The quality of applications we received this year was truly exceptional and I would like to congratulate and welcome our highly motivated new joiners to Cushman & Wakefield.

“As a people business, we are committed to investing in new talent and developing leaders of the future. Real estate is a vibrant and exciting sector, and we hope they enjoy the first chapters in their careers with us.”

Danielle Holton, Early Careers Talent and Development Manager at Cushman & Wakefield, said: “It is such a pleasure to welcome so many accomplished people to the business at the beginning of their careers. It’s clear from their energy, curiosity and willingness to participate that they are off to a strong start as they begin their careers in real estate.

“We hope to build on this year’s success and are looking forward to accepting applications for the 2023 graduate scheme; the application process is now open.”
