NEW YORK – February 17, 2025 – Cushman & Wakefield, a global real estate services firm, announced that it has hired Hayley Shoener as Executive Managing Director in its New York City Office Leasing group. Shoener will join the Institutional Leasing Team led by Executive Vice Chair Ethan Silverstein and will focus on agency leasing and tenant advisory services across the Manhattan office market.
“We are thrilled to welcome Hayley to our New York office leasing platform,” said Todd Schwartz, Cushman & Wakefield’s Northeast Regional President. “Hayley brings an exceptional blend of institutional ownership and brokerage expertise, along with a strong track record executing complex leasing assignments in one of the most competitive office markets in the world. Her addition further strengthens our ability to deliver strategic, results-driven solutions for our clients across New York City and the broader Northeast.”
Shoener joins Cushman & Wakefield from Brookfield Properties, where she most recently served as Vice President of Leasing and played a key role in representing Brookfield’s approximately 30 million-square-foot Manhattan office portfolio. Prior to Brookfield, Shoener spent several years at JLL, where she received The Real Estate Board of New York’s Most Promising Salesperson Award in 2016 and was recognized as a Rising Star in Real Estate by Crain’s in 2019.
“I’ve spent my career crafting strategic leasing campaigns, both on the landlord and brokerage side of the business, allowing me to develop a unique perspective when it comes to providing solutions-driven outcomes for clients in New York,” added Shoener. “I am excited to join such a high-performing team at Cushman & Wakefield, especially coming off the strongest leasing year that the market has seen since 2019. We already have great momentum early in 2026 and I look forward to contributing to the firm’s success.”
