Derek Snyder is an Executive Vice Chair with Cushman & Wakefield’s Toronto Office Leasing group and one of Canada’s leading tenant representation, office leasing professionals. Over more than 25 years with Cushman & Wakefield, Derek has advised major Canadian and international organizations on complex real estate strategies, headquarters relocations, consolidations, lease restructurings, renewals and major new developments.  Derek is an active member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group and Cushman & Wakefield’s Legal Sector Advisory Group.

Derek’s approach is focused on aligning real estate strategy with broader business objectives - reducing occupancy costs and risk, creating flexibility, and using real estate to support long-term organizational performance. Together with his team, Derek has represented many of North America’s most recognized organizations and advised on some of Canada’s largest and most significant office transactions.
