Cushman & Wakefield has successfully secured new tenants for Goodman in two premier industrial assets located in Alexandria, just 4 kilometres south of Sydney's CBD. This achievement highlights the resilience of the Alexandria market and the strong demand for top-tier industrial space in the area.

At Axis Alexandria, Goodman’s multi-level industrial facility strategically located at 45 Burrows Road, CH Robinson (CHR), a global leader in logistics and freight forwarding, secured a three-year lease for 3,081 sqm.

CHR’s decision to occupy the state-of-the-art facility marks a significant milestone for the company as it expands its Australian operations. The property will be CHR’s first dedicated Air Freight warehouse in Sydney. Axis Alexandria’s desirable location, directly adjacent to the WestConnex St Peters Interchange, provides CHR with seamless access to Sydney’s airport and motorway network. The deal was negotiated by Tim Cassidy of Cushman & Wakefield.

In a separate transaction, an undisclosed cutting-edge technology company has secured a 1,655 sqm lease over Buildings 5 and 6 in Sydney Corporate Park at 190 Bourke Road.

Negotiated by Cushman & Wakefield’s Jake Savery, the three-year lease includes a minimal market incentive, demonstrating the sustained demand for industrial assets in Alexandria. Despite the previous lease expiring in November, Cushman & Wakefield was able to place the tenant in the space with just one month’s downtime.

“These transactions reflect the high demand for industrial assets in South Sydney and Goodman’s ability to deliver premium facilities that attract global and innovative companies,” said Mr Cassidy.
