Introducing Cushman & Wakefield’s New Perth Office

THE CHALLENGE
To reduce costs, Cushman & Wakefield sourced internal talent to project manage the procurement, design and delivery of a brand-new fit-out, completed by its own design and build team. This would be the first Cushman & Wakefield branded office in Western Australia (WA).

THE SOLUTION
The project management scope of works included the managing of:
- multiple consultants and contractors
- permits and authority approvals
- project change control
- process claims
- risk management
- project handover
- defect liability
The project also involved concurrently managing the base build upgrade works for Charter Hall, including new ceilings, lights, carpets and blinds.
As the Cushman & Wakefield team was managing these concurrent projects, the team secured preferential pricing due to the scope of works involved. A high-quality fitout was achieved for less than $1,000 sqm.

THE RESULT
Following a three-month project timeline, the final fit out was delivered in February 2020.
This high-quality office fit out allows for Cushman & Wakefield to demonstrate project and development services capabilities to deliver projects for clients, whilst allowing for future growth as Cushman & Wakefield continues to expand its service offering in Western Australia.
