Mário Sérgio Gurgueira, an architect who graduated at the Fine Arts college in 1986 and specializes in valuation engineering, started his career in the real estate market as an appraiser.
After a few years working as appraiser at a Brazilian company with a great market reputation, he was hired to serve as appraiser at Richard Ellis (1992), where he started as the head of the consulting department in 1994, and was promoted to the position of manager, being responsible for coordinating all of that company’s services until 1996.
For the four subsequent years he served as director, being responsible for the consulting department of Binswanger Brazil, where he created that department and developed all services for which that company was hired, especially appraisals, market analyses, feasibility studies and analyses of real estate investment portfolios.
In 2001, he became a partner of AMAC Partners, a company who gathered together only those professionals who had extensive experience in the real estate market, providing corporate clients with real estate marketing, tenant representation and property development services.
At Cushman & Wakefield he serves as Director of Brokerage Services since 2004, dealing with acquisition, sale and lease instructions, together with his team. He develops a customized service to clients, providing support to all acquisition, sales and leasing deals. He has as target, to ensure total quality in real estate negotiations, applying Cushman & Wakefield’s standards and quality. Mario Sergio is responsible for managing the commercial negotiations with the prospective buyers on behalf of his clients for the assignments all over Brazil. His broad knowledge provides a customized service, based on a clear relationship and on effective results, representing client’s interests.
