As Account Director, Kate’s role is to deliver effective real estate solutions in the context of client business operations. Kate has oversight on service delivery, strategy development and quality control on global and national accounts but ensures that client relations are at the forefront of any account, regardless of size.
Kate has provided real estate consulting services since 1985, mainly to users and occupiers of operational space in office and industrial environments. Her extensive real estate background spans the breadth of strategic analysis at the portfolio level to lease management at the individual property level. With experience within four leading real estate consulting groups in the UK and Canada, Kate has a professional grounding in a wide range of real estate disciplines: strategic advice, financial analysis, land and property appraisal, property tax advice and litigation support. She has extensive experience in Canada, USA, UK, Hong Kong and Europe. Prior to joining the CIS group at Cushman & Wakefield Ltd., Kate was a senior consultant at The Gordian Group, an independent real estate and facilities consulting practice, providing corporate real estate advisory services to clients in the information technology and engineering services fields and to the public sector.
Specific areas of expertise include corporate real estate policies and procedures development, due diligence, integration strategies post-merger and acquisition, real estate consolidation strategies, portfolio management, sustainability policy development, lease administration, real estate options analysis and lease/contract development and negotiation.
