01 The Challenge
We knew that we would have neighborhood opposition even though our project was a conforming high density project to the general plan (52 units per acre).
Knowing this we pushed the boundaries of the density, in our application (58 units) knowing that we would need to back off of those numbers.
02 The Results
After many meetings with local opposition and city council members we came upon a reduced number of units (36 per acre) that were acceptable to all sides and is what we originally underwrote the project for.
