Mac Marcinew is an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield Calgary in the Retail Division. In 2019, after completing his MBA at the University of Calgary, Mac transitioned from the Oil & Gas Industry to Real Estate in 2019 to partner with Ryan Rutherford. Since making his career shift, Mac has been successful in completing a high number of retail transactions, and has built quality relationships with some of Canada’s largest retail Developers and Landlords including Choice Properties, Qualico, Calgary Co-op, Royop, Ronmor and Riocan.  

Mac has successfully brought many first to market Tenants to Calgary, including Earl of Sandwich, Foxy Box, and the Curryer. Although, Landlord representation is his focus, Mac believes it’s important to key in on unique concepts that can add value and help develop Calgary’s retail community.  

Mac is an active participating member of the real-estate community and serves on NAIOP’s Developing Leaders Committee.
