MIAMI, September 24, 2025 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Roberto Pesant has joined the firm as Executive Managing Director, based in Miami.
Pesant will focus on institutional multifamily investment sales and multifamily land transactions in South Florida. He has more than 20 years of experience in Florida commercial real estate and has closed multifamily transactions exceeding $6 billion.
“Over the past few years, I’ve observed Cushman & Wakefield invest heavily into an already remarkable multifamily platform,” said Pesant. “I’m excited to be a part of that, especially going into the next industry cycle. South Florida is increasingly an institutional market, and with Cushman & Wakefield’s global platform, we have a truly extraordinary opportunity.”
Pesant complements Cushman & Wakefield’s existing Florida multifamily team, led by Vice Chairs Nick Meoli and Mike Donaldson, and the firm’s focus on the state. Other recent additions include Joey Blakley, who specializes in Central Florida and build-to-rent multifamily properties; Greg Rainey, who leads North Florida multifamily investment sales advisory; and Jordan Wean, who specializes in multifamily land investment advisory.
“Roberto is an exceptional addition to our Florida multifamily advisory team and a further example of our commitment to clients in this sector,” said Wanda Riley, Cushman & Wakefield Florida Managing Principal. “He is critical to our success and comprehensive market coverage as we continue to build the top multifamily advisory team in the state.”
Added Blake Okland, President of Multifamily Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield, “We’re transforming our multifamily capital markets platform, enabling delivery of outstanding coverage across the sector’s property types in Florida and across the Americas. Roberto’s experience and leadership in South Florida are invaluable in that effort and will be instrumental in driving client engagement, business development and platform-wide collaboration and success.”
Pesant joins Cushman & Wakefield from Berkadia, where he was Senior Managing Director. He is a graduate of Trinity College and Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business. Additionally, he is a member of the Urban Land Institute and National Multi Housing Council.
