Karam Chand Thapar & Bros. Ltd.– Implementing An Advanced Visitor Management System
01 THE CHALLENGE
Indian City Properties Ltd (ICP) is the real estate arm of the KCT group. The company deals in ultra-premium commercial buildings in three major cities; New Delhi, Mumbai, and Kolkata.
ICP focuses on innovative technologies. Recently, it planned to move from handwritten paper log books for visitors and implement a digitised visitor management solution for its buildings.
The aim was to offer increased security and organised visitor information.
The client further needed a mechanism to send SMS notifications to hosts upon visitor arrival.
Cushman & Wakefield was retained to prepare a visitor management model to implement a cloud-based solution. The main challenge was to design and deploy the solution within a tight deadline.
02 THE SOLUTION
The Property Management team studied the client’s requirements and prepared a unique visitor management model to implement the technology.
We presented ICP an agile model and a strategic execution plan for parallel software deployment at various locations.
The system allows visitors to check-in using a mobile number with OTP verification, as well as a form requiring important details such as full name, company, ID proof, etc.
All collected data is now available to ICP on a secure, cloud-based network.
03 THE RESULT
The project was completed ahead of schedule, taking only 18 days to complete.
It proved to be one of the fastest technological solution deployments in all of India.
