Daan van de Velde is a Consultant within the Industrial & Logistics Agency team at Cushman & Wakefield Netherlands and works from the Rotterdam office. He advises owners, occupiers and investors on the leasing and acquisition of logistics and industrial real estate in the Greater Rotterdam region. This region is a market of its own, with a scale and dynamic that clearly sets it apart from the rest of the Netherlands. The mix of clients ranges from SMEs to international players, and Daan moves seamlessly between these different types of clients. He translates their real estate needs into concrete solutions, always proactive and result driven.

His work spans the full breadth of the logistics occupier market, from distribution centres to production sites and cold storage. Daan closely follows developments such as li-ion storage and e-commerce fulfilment, and understands what power capacity and grid congestion mean for his clients' real estate strategy. He guides the full process, from advice and negotiation to redevelopment. He also handles rental valuations, transaction analysis and market research.

Daan regularly works on international assignments through the Cushman & Wakefield network. He prepares market reports for international clients, including European market overviews and cross country comparisons. His strength lies in combining detailed market knowledge with sharp commercial advice. He has now been part of the team for almost two years.
