Jan Ruttenberg is a Senior Consultant within Capital Markets at Cushman & Wakefield and a member of the Specialist Markets team. Based in Amsterdam, he advises domestic and international property owners, investors, healthcare organisations, developers, and financial institutions on complex real estate transactions across the Healthcare and Infrastructure sectors.

With a background in real estate valuation and nearly five years of experience within the Specialist Markets valuation team, Jan has developed an in-depth understanding of the factors that drive real estate value. This expertise enables him to support clients in making strategic real estate decisions where property performance, operations, and market dynamics are closely interconnected.

Jan specialises in operational real estate, where business performance plays a critical role in determining asset value. He advises clients on strategic transaction advisory, investment sales and acquisitions, sale-and-leaseback transactions, development projects, and transactions involving both individual assets and real estate portfolios. In doing so, he helps clients identify opportunities, manage risks, and unlock long-term value.

Together with his colleagues, Jan supports clients throughout the entire transaction process, from strategic analysis and asset positioning to market approach, bid management, commercial negotiations, due diligence, and transaction completion. His combination of analytical expertise, market knowledge, and transactional experience enables clients to make informed decisions in complex and specialised real estate markets.
