James has over 10 years’ experience in corporate real estate, working as a tenant representative for a variety of occupiers, across all sectors of property (commercial, retail and industrial). 

James’ specialty is providing property advice to corporate occupiers with large retail and commercial office networks across Australia and subsequently, James developed strong relationships with active landlords, developers, and tenants across all markets. 

More recently, James has spent the last 6 years on the National Australia Bank (NAB) Account as a Regional Transaction Manager. The NAB portfolio consists of approximately 1,000 leased sites over 600,000sqm with upwards of 300 lease transactions being negotiated each year. During this time, James was responsible for the delivery of NAB’s Major Projects leasing program nationally, oversaw their shopping centre leasing strategy and was NAB’s relationship manager to several of their major shopping centre landlords including Scentre Group (Westfield) and Stockland. With this time working on the NAB account, James has gained experience in the management of a large diverse portfolio, the development of portfolio strategies and the coordination of transactions across retail and commercial sites. 

James’ experience has provided valuable insight into the challenges faced by large corporate occupiers. This knowledge directly translates to more successful outcomes both financially and also in terms of the quality of his client’s ongoing occupancy.
