Mark Clapham brings over 35 years of experience in the commercial office sector, with a distinguished career spanning major Australian CBD markets and a dedicated focus on the Perth CBD office market for the past 12 years. His deep expertise encompasses all facets of office leasing, including project pre-commitments, development leasing, leasing of existing vacant space, strategic asset reviews, and lease renewal strategies.
Mark’s career includes significant roles in Asset Management across Sydney and London, providing him with a strategic and global perspective on leasing both new developments and stabilised assets. He was a founding joint owner of Sheffield Property, which established itself as Perth’s leading office agency prior to its merger with Cushman & Wakefield in 2022. The firm was renowned for its leadership in development leasing, leasing of stabilised assets, and asset management.
From 2009 to 2012, Mark served as National Head of Leasing at Brookfield Office Properties, where he was instrumental in establishing the division and leading the leasing strategy across a 1 million sqm portfolio of Premium and A-Grade office assets in Australia and New Zealand.
Earlier in his career, Mark held senior leadership roles at CBRE in Sydney, including Senior Director of Office Services and Asset Services, NSW. He also spent three years in London with Insignia Richard Ellis (now CBRE) as a Regional Asset Manager, overseeing a portfolio of office and retail assets across the UK.
He holds real estate agent licenses in both Western Australia and New South Wales and is an active member of the Property Council of Australia, WA Chapter. Mark also serves as Chair of the Board at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts, reflecting his commitment to the broader cultural and community landscape.
