Sonia’s background in property and commercial law provides clients with valuable insights and a strong foundation for achieving strategic real estate outcomes. Specialising in lease negotiations, she has built an extensive track record across Western Australia, working with a diverse range of companies in the commercial office, industrial, and retail sectors.
Sonia began her career as a Research Analyst at the Real Estate Institute of Western Australia (REIWA), before joining Knight Frank where she played a key role in developing and expanding their Occupier Services division. She later welcomed the opportunity to establish and grow the Perth arm of Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group, further strengthening her reputation as a trusted advisor in the market.
Her early grounding in research cemented her strong analytical process, enabling her to deliver precise, detail-focused and strategic outcomes for clients. Transitioning into occupier representation allowed her to become more client-facing, engaging directly with the broader market. This combination of analytical depth and client engagement has shaped Sonia’s ability to consistently deliver tailored, high-quality strategic advice while keeping clients fully informed throughout the process.
With a career firmly rooted in the Perth market, Sonia has built extensive knowledge of its key operators, developers, and landlords. She brings a calm, strategic, and relationship-focused approach to negotiations, ensuring enduring outcomes that benefit both tenants and landlords.
