On behalf of Cushman & Wakefield’s Legal Sector Advisory Group (LSAG), we are proud to share with you the results of our proprietary 2020 National Legal Sector Benchmark Survey – Bright Insight.

In its seventh year, Bright Insight also includes the results of our proprietary COVID-19 survey and additional national and global survey statistics. COVID-19 has been a global shock.  The focus is now on recovery, rebuilding, and adoption of best practices to avoid a recurrence and to create safe work environments. While our annual survey of 608 law firms and associate participants continues to provide the foundation of our analysis, the survey preceded the arrival of the pandemic in the U.S. Since then, the workplace as we knew it has completely changed, triggering the need for additional survey questions relating to COVID-19 implications. While some of these changes are temporary, we believe some will have long-term effects, some will be an acceleration of trends that were already underway, while others will lead in new directions.

Regardless of your firm’s position, the Bright Insight report delivers facts and figures on potential trends and ideas on the effect on overall operations and business of law in general. Whether your firm is an Am Law 100 firm or a one-off boutique, the results of the survey will provide you with pertinent information and a solid foundation for effective business decision making.

Hot topics from the 2020 Bright Insight report include:
