Brittain offers over eighteen years of diverse commercial real estate knowledge and expertise. Before joining Cushman & Wakefield in San Jose, Brittain was Senior Director at Cushman & Wakefield of San Diego-North County. There he focused on representing Tenants in pursuit of Office/R&D and Corporate Headquarters sites.
Prior to that he served as Vice President of Leasing with the Irvine Company where he was responsible for the leasing and strategic management of a 7.2 million square foot portfolio of Class “A” Office and R&D properties in the Greater San Diego area.
Before the Irvine Company, Brittain served as Managing Director of Leasing for the Silicon Valley portfolio of Equity Office Properties (EOP). He was responsible for leading the strategic direction of a public institutional owner changing to a private value-add entity, during the acquisition by the Blackstone Group. His responsibilities included 5.3 million square feet comprised of 63 buildings of Class “A” and R&D assets.
Prior to being on the Principal side of the business, Brittain was an accomplished broker with CPS, Commercial Property Services a leading Silicon Valley Brokerage firm; where he represented such notable tenants as Cisco Systems, Charles Schwab, Infineon, University of Phoenix, CBIZ Gibraltar.
