Chethan Rao joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2025 as Executive Director in the firm's Tysons Corner, Virginia office. As a distinguished transaction advisor with extensive domestic and international expertise, Mr. Rao specializes in delivering comprehensive real estate strategy, market intelligence, financial analysis, and lease negotiation services to tenant clients. His practice demonstrates particular proficiency in serving government contractors and technology enterprises, having executed transactions on their behalf across global markets.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Rao served as Senior Managing Director at Newmark's Tysons Corner office. In this role, he functioned as transaction lead for multinational accounts, providing tailored real estate solutions addressing each client's distinct operational requirements encompassing acquisitions, dispositions, lease restructuring, and portfolio consolidations.

Mr. Rao commenced his commercial real estate career in 2005 as an associate with DTZ. He previously held a position with the Corporate Executive Board, where he contributed to the organization's sales and marketing operations.
