Chris Helgesen holds the title of Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield and has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate field. His path has included diverse experience across accounting, finance, consulting, and brokerage, all within the corporate real estate industry. His work on behalf of portfolio clients spans global geographies and nearly all product types arming him with the capacity to provide guidance at an esoteric and superior level, in a very user-friendly manner.

Throughout his career, Chris has advised CREs, CFOs, CEOs, MDs, and JDs as to how to best manage real estate expenditure and investments effectively and efficiently. Chris’ experience has led to millions in value for his clients. By partnering internally with equally talented individuals across varied service lines, such as Project Management, Capital Markets, Facilities Management, and Lease Administration, Chris and his team have garnered over 1,000 successfully completed transactions.

Along with Dirk Hrobsky, and previous to joining Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ), Chris was also a Senior Vice President in CBRE’s New York office. Chris contributed as one of the office’s most productive members of the GCS/Brokerage team. Prior to CBRE, he spent five years as a Senior Vice President with Trammell Crow Company, where he was instrumental in building New York’s Corporate Advisory Services business and providing national and local tenant advisory services to Fortune 500 clients.
