Mr. Dawson is a member of Cushman & Wakefield Valuation & Advisory Retail, Multifamily, Office and Automobile Dealership Industry Practice Groups. Prior to joining C&W Mr. Dawson worked for the Dallas office of Joseph J. Blake & Associates as a Senior Associate from January 1990 until December 2005. Mr. Dawson has been actively engaged in real estate since January 1990.

Mr. Dawson specializes in the appraisal of retail, multi-family developments, office buildings and auto dealerships, both existing and proposed. His experience also includes appraisals of most types of commercial property including manufacturing facilities and vacant land. Valuation assignments have included a variety of commercial property types including office buildings, retail centers, regional malls, lodging facilities, apartment projects (including LIHTC), industrial developments, vacant land, assisted living facilities and special use properties such as fully automated carwash facilities, manufacturing facilities and commercial nurseries, throughout the United States and Mexico.
