Colin is an Integrated Portfolio Management Director with deep Transaction Management experience with Cushman & Wakefield’s Portfolio Services Center where he has worked for 15 years. 

For the past five years, Colin has been IPM Director for Centene, a Fortune 25 health insurance company, overseeing Transaction Management and Lease Administration services for Centene’s 500 location / 12 million SF U.S. portfolio. In 2022 Colin worked with Centene on their value creation initiative reducing annual real estate expenses by ~$190M by driving a 65% reduction in portfolio footprint, taking $1.5B one-time impairment and, and implementing a best-in-class lease disposition program. Additionally, Colin has collaborated with Centene’s in house real estate department to evaluate and integrate the portfolios of more than twelve separate acquisitions and identified / managed post-acquisition synergy efforts generating more than $50M in annual savings. In 2018/19 Colin led adoption of ASC842 accounting standards working in close partnership with C&W’s SMEs and Centene’s technical accounting team and auditor.

Prior to working with Centene Colin led the successful pursuit and onboarding of Transaction Management services for Cerner’s global real estate portfolio and worked as a Regional Lead of C&W’s Transaction Management Platform. In the Platform role Colin collaborated with multiple client accounts sharing best practices and working on consulting engagements with many well-known corporations including Ericsson, Veritas, and others. 

Colin has also led Transaction Management services for Unum and Humana accounts. Unum sought, in addition to managing their lease portfolio, to monetize underutilized legacy corporate campuses in secondary/tertiary markets. Colin partnered with Unum’s inhouse real estate team to develop an operational strategy, capital plan, and go-to-market plan to lease portions of their campuses. For Humana, In addition to overseeing the Transaction Management team working on office and retail properties, Colin was heavily involved in the programmatic expansion of Humana’s medical clinics from Florida to four additional states.
