About
Dexter Deeds is the Director of Project and Development Services, responsible for the Kansas City market. Dexter brings over fifteen (15) years’ experience in commercial real estate with an expertise in design and construction.
Prior to working at Cushman & Wakefield, Dexter was the Director of Design & Construction Development at MedDevelopment, where he oversaw the entire development process specializing in acute and ambulatory care. Prior to joining MedDevelopment, Dexter was a Senior Project Manager at CBRE, where he led real estate endeavours on behalf of occupier and investor clients with opportunities ranging from multimillion dollar ground-up projects to tenant finish and capital expenditures.
Dexter is a licensed mechanical engineer and has worked as a Professional Engineer and Commissioning Agent at Henderson Engineers. Dexter is also a licensed real estate agent with an emphasis in office, retail, and land. Dexter has a proven track record of providing immense value through his diverse experience in the real estate industry. - Northwest Missouri State University: Construction Manager overseeing a portfolio of projects including a ground-up 140,000 SF Indoor Practice Facility and complete retrofit of a 300-room dormitory; $30M
- American Century Investments – Kansas City, MO: Owner’s Representative for a tenant interiors renovation project of company’s headquarters which included a full-service café and state-of-the-art presentation auditorium; 20,000 SF, $4.9M
