About

Evan Walke is a Managing Director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Asset Services group and serves as the National Retail Lead. With 20 years of experience in the New York City market and beyond, he drives business development, leads strategic initiatives and manages class-A office and retail portfolios totaling more than 5 million square feet across New York, New Jersey and California. His work spans strategic planning, operational execution, investor and lender relations, and value creation through effective management of people, processes and negotiations.  

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Evan was a Portfolio Manager at Madison International Realty, where he managed a 2 million-square-foot retail portfolio in New York City and New Jersey acquired from Forest City Ratner. In this role, he was responsible for executing the fund’s business plan, maintaining strategic relationships with investors and lenders, and overseeing Cushman & Wakefield’s brokerage, property management, sustainability and appraisal services. He previously spent four years with Westfield Group as General Manager of the World Trade Center and Fulton Center redevelopments in lower Manhattan, leading pre-development, construction, grand opening and stabilization.  

Earlier in his career, Evan spent seven years with Tishman Speyer managing iconic New York assets including Rockefeller Center, the MetLife Building and Peter Cooper Village Stuyvesant Town (PCVST). At Rockefeller Center, his work emphasized retail operations, while at PCVST he gained significant experience navigating foreclosure proceedings alongside a special servicer. 

Evan’s expertise combines deep operational knowledge with a track record of managing complex high-profile properties and leading teams to deliver measurable results for clients.
