About

Garrett J. Mickal is currently a Director with the Valuation & Advisory group at Cushman & Wakefield. He has over 11 years of experience performing real estate appraisal and consulting supporting loan underwriting, litigation, portfolio analysis, financial reporting, and eminent domain. Mr. Mickal has performed real estate valuations of fee simple, easement, leased fee and leasehold interests of existing and proposed developments across the United States including land, single and multi-tenant retail centers, single and multi-tenant office, restaurants, hospitality, auto-dealerships, industrial facilities, single-family and multi-family residential buildings, subdivisions, gravel pits, and other special purpose properties. Additionally, Mr. Mickal has testified as an expert witness in Harris and Galveston counties in Texas, as well as Lafayette and Jefferson Parishes in Louisiana. 

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Mickal held several valuation positions at some of the world’s largest real estate companies. There, he focused on valuation and consulting assignments supporting loan underwriting, financial reporting for institutional investments, and litigation support for easements & right of way acquisitions in eminent domain proceedings
