About

Gary is responsible for quality assurance along scoping and overseeing the execution of large scale, multi-market portfolios for a range of client types nationwide.  His experience is far reaching and includes CBD and suburban office buildings, medical office buildings, regional shopping malls, community and neighborhood centers, multi-family projects, industrial facilities, parking garages, golf courses, hotels/motels/resorts, commercial and residential subdivisions, healthcare, and special use properties. Other areas of experience include cash flow analysis, market studies, retail pricing of commercial tracts of land and residential lots, portfolio roll-up valuation, and ad valorem tax valuation. He works with many institutional investors and valuation management companies on a variety of commercial assets. Several notable assignments include Greenway Plaza, Potomac Yard, Florida Mall, The Phoenician Resort, Allen Center, Houston and Dallas Galleria Malls, Windsor Memorial High-Rise Apartments, Redstone Golf Club, Four and Five Oaks Place, and Hill Country Galleria. 

Gary joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2022 from Colliers where he managed the national specialty practice for valuation services providing quality assurance, production support, and client services and care.  Prior to his tenure at Colliers, Gary was a principal at ThoreenHale Commercial Real Estate Advisors which he co-founded with Paula Thoreen.
