George O’Brien is an Operations Coordinator at the Cushman & Wakefield Phoenix office. He brings a strong foundation in finance, real estate development, and project management. In his role, he supports operational efficiency, coordinates cross-functional initiatives, contributes to the execution of key business priorities, and provides financial analysis and valuation services to support the Phoenix Hospitality team.
 
Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, George developed a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset early on through his passion for rugby. He has competed at a high level representing the U.S.A., the University of Arizona and other elite rugby programs and travelled extensively domestically and internationally as a rugby athlete. Most recently, George completed his rugby career hat the University of Arizona where he received numerous awards and was named a first-team All-Pac-12 selection.
 
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, George gained experience in real estate development and project management at a small firm where he supported operational performance, managed project workflows, and collaborated across teams to drive results. He is known for his analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
