About

Hayden D. Littlefield joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2024 as Executive Director in the Dallas office, where he provides valuation and consulting services for the acquisition, disposition, and financing of investment-grade real estate.  He has over 40 years of experience in the real estate industry. 

Hayden’s experience extends to numerous property types, including apartments (proposed, investment-grade, garden-style, Built to Rent/Build For Rent), industrial (warehouse, self-storage, manufacturing/distribution facilities), professional and medical office (high-rise, garden-style, mid-rise), retail (strip, neighborhood, big box, lifestyle, regional mall), land (raw, finished lots) and special-purpose (US Naval Shipyard, sand mines, marinas, farms/ranches/agricultural).  Hayden also has significant experience in Right of Way, Condemnation, Tax Assessment Appeals, and expert witness testimony. 

Hayden has worked with clients on a wide variety of property types and has provided litigation support including the preparation of appraisals and providing expert witness testimony for property tax appeals, condemnation, bankruptcy, foreclosure, environmental issues, and proposed right-of-way acquisitions on behalf of property owners and by various governmental and quasi-governmental entities.   

Since the start of his career, Hayden has acted as a real estate broker or appraiser on a wide variety of properties throughout Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin. 

Prior to Cushman Wakefield, Hayden helped start the Newmark Valuation and Advisory Groups appraisal practice and worked there for 7+ years.  Prior to Newmark, Hayden worked for nearly 17 years as Vice President with CBRE Valuation Services. Previously, he served as a Senior Appraiser for Houston-based Aaron & Wright Technical Services, Inc. Hayden began his appraisal career in 1988 in Sante Fe New Mexico.  He began his career in real estate five years earlier, when he obtained his Texas real estate brokers license.
