About

Ian Halker is a Senior Director on the Silicon Valley Capital Markets team. With more than 15 years of experience spanning both brokerage and ground-up development, Ian has a comprehensive perspective on complex investment and capital markets decisions.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ian served as a Vice President at CBRE, where he advised clients on portfolio strategy aligned with long-term capital and operational objectives. Prior to his time there, Ian was a Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development at Oppidan Investment Company, where he played a key role in the delivery of more than 2 million square feet of development across multiple U.S. markets. His experience structuring and negotiating debt and equity financing with institutional partners gives him deep insight into capital relationships and execution strategy.

Ian leverages his combined development and brokerage background to guide clients through sophisticated transactions, align real estate strategy with business objectives and unlock value across the capital stack.
