About
Mr. Underhill rejoined the Dallas office of Cushman & Wakefield in March 2026. Prior to his return, he served as a Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Officer II at Bank OZK, where he collaborated with multiple service lines to deliver reliable valuation support across a broad range of property types. His work included significant involvement with the Real Estate Specialty Group (RESG), the bank’s lending division focused on large commercial construction loans ranging from $50 million to $500 million. Before joining Bank OZK, Mr. Underhill worked as a producer in Cushman & Wakefield’s Dallas office, specializing in industrial property valuation as part of the Logistics and Industrial practice group.
He has extensive experience performing complex discounted cash flow analyses in Excel and ARGUS; reviewing key due‑diligence materials such as leases, contracts, financial statements, construction budgets, rent rolls, surveys, tax data, and zoning codes; and conducting comprehensive market research, including vacancy, rental rate, inventory, expense, and capitalization rate analyses.
Mr. Underhill is a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute (MAI) and holds a Certified General Appraiser License in the State of Texas. He is actively involved in the North Texas Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, serving on the Board of Directors and participating in several committees. Additionally, he serves on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the City of Lucas, Texas, where he applies his professional expertise to support informed decision‑making by City Officials. He is a graduate of the University of North Texas. Prior to beginning his career in real estate appraisal, Mr. Underhill served for eight years as a Firefighter/Paramedic in the City of Grand Prairie, Texas.
