Kevin Shiplett joined Cushman & Wakefield as a Director with over 10 years of commercial real estate experience. Mr. Shiplett’s primary market coverage includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and West Virginia. Mr. Shiplett’s primary specialty includes multifamily properties, as well as all other commercial property types. In addition, Mr. Shiplett has an extensive background within the eminent domain arena and is qualified as an expert witness.

Mr. Shiplett began his career in construction project management after receiving his B.S. in Building Construction from the Georgia Institute of Technology. After managing several projects for Swinerton Builders, including the de Young Museum in San Francisco and the Ritz Carlton in North Lake Tahoe, Mr. Shiplett transitioned his career into real estate valuation with R.W. Shiplett & Associates, mainly focusing on eminent domain, assisting both condemning authorities and property owners. In addition to being a Designated Member of the Appraisal Institute, Mr. Shiplett is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Licensed General Contractor.
