About
As a part of the Diligence Advisory Group since 2022, Lynwood assists in pre- and post-closing underwriting for commercial real estate lenders and investors. He performs financial modeling, third party report review, market research, borrower diligence, and lease analysis. Mr. Smith’s deal capacity ranges from single transactions to larger multi-family portfolios.
In 2023, he was part of the Senior’s Housing and Conventional team and underwrote a total of $2.5 billion in senior debt financing for multi-family housing properties in the U.S.
Lynwood also contributes to the Manufactured Housing, Target Affordable Housing and Structured Financing teams, as well as completing Senior Housing lease audits and site inspections of multifamily properties across the United States.
Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, he was with Rocket Mortgage, where he underwrote residential mortgage transactions in compliance with agency guidelines in addition to other duties. He coordinated a pipeline of up to 250 loans monthly.
