About

Malcolm Marshall, III, is a Vice Chair within Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group. He is the Chairman of C&W’s TAG Group for 2023-2024. In addition, he is on the executive committee for C&W’s Legal Sector Advisory Group. Malcolm advises solely on the interests of the occupier clients in assessing their real estate options. He consistently demonstrates how operational, financial, and business objectives fit into an executable and comprehensive real estate strategy.

Through due diligence, strategic analytics, and fact-based recommendations, Malcolm’s process-oriented approach has streamlined decision-making and overall level of accountability for his clients. In his 25-year career, Malcolm has been involved in more than 18 million square feet of office lease transactions exclusively representing the interests of law firms, corporations, and financial institutions.

A native of Washington, DC, Mr. Marshall graduated from Denison University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He is on the Board for The First Tee of Washington, DC and a committee member of the Yellow Ribbon Fund.

Awards & Recognition

Mr. Marshall annually ranks within the top 5% of all C&W brokers globally. He has been the past recipient of C&W’s Service Excellence Award for Achievement for outstanding achievement in the pursuit of business, performance excellence and total client satisfaction as well as C&W’s Top Brokerage Team Globally in 2016 and 2017. Additionally, the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR) and the Washington Business Journal awarded Mr. Marshall the Leasing Transaction of the Year award for his work on behalf of The Corporate Executive Board’s 650,000 sf headquarters consolidation in 2008. In 2013, he was nominated by Commercial Property Executive as one of their “Stars to Watch”. He was also selected on the inaugural “35 under 35” in the Washington, DC Commercial Real Estate industry by Bisnow on Business.
