Matthew Melendres is a Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s San Diego office and a member of the firm’s Healthcare Advisory Practice. In this role, he partners with owners of medical office buildings, healthcare providers, operators, and investors to develop and execute real estate strategies across a wide range of assignments, including landlord and tenant representation, as well as owner-user and investment sales. His client base includes hospital systems, physician groups, outpatient providers, and medical office investors and developers throughout Southern California.
Matthew specializes in the leasing and sale of medical office assets across San Diego County. He is involved in both landlord and occupier services, managing a diverse portfolio of agency leasing assignments while advising clients on site selection, portfolio expansion, and long-term real estate planning. He has contributed to the successful completion of numerous healthcare real estate transactions and continues to strengthen his presence in the local market through a proactive, relationship-driven approach.
As part of Cushman & Wakefield’s specialized healthcare platform, Matthew collaborates with a specialized team dedicated to serving healthcare providers and investors across the continuum of care. The team provides strategic guidance on real estate and capital planning initiatives, including acquisitions, dispositions, and aligning real estate assets with broader operational and financial objectives.
